Enable JavaScript in Opera

The Opera web browser includes a number of features which make it stand out from the crowd. It comes with a Free VPN, ad blocker and tons of other features.

Follow this guide to enable JavaScript in your Opera web browser:

1. Click on the ‘Opera’ icon

Click on the Opera icon located at the top-left position. It will open the menu.


2. Select the ‘Setting’ in the menu

After clicking on Opera icon, a drop-down menu will open. Click on the Settings to open Opera Settings. This can also be opened by pressing ALT+P on keyboard.


3. Search ‘JavaScript’

In Opera Settings, you will find a search box on the right-top side of the screen. Type JavaScript in the search box.


4. Click on ‘Site Settings’

After searching for JavaScript, the Site Settings option will be highlighted. Open Site Settings for more options.


5. Find the ‘JavaScript’ Option

Under Site Settings, scroll down to JavaScript option. This option will be highlighted because we searched for it. Click on JavaScript option.


6. Enable ‘JavaScript’

Turn on the JavaScript using toggle button if it’s turned off. The blue background on the button represents enabled and gray background is for disabled.
