Enable JavaScript in Edge

Microsoft Edge is the new browser from Microsoft which is the default browser in the Windows 10 operating system. The browser is fast, modern and has a lot of new features.

JavaScript is by default enabled in Edge when you install it. If it is disabled in your browser, follow these steps to enable:

1. Open ‘Settings and more’ menu

Click three dots on the right-top side of your browser or press ALT+F on your keyboard to open the Settings and more menu.

2. Click on the ‘Settings’ menu item

In the Settings and more menu, click the Settings menu item. It is 3rd option from the bottom.

3. Search ‘JavaScript’ in search-box

After clicking on setting item, you will see a bunch of settings with a search box on the left side. Search JavaScript in that box.

4. Find ‘JavaScript’ in the list of options

After you search for the JavaScript, Edge will highlight the JavaScript setting. Click on it to open JS settings.

5. Enable JavaScript using toggle button

If JavaScript is disabled, you will see a toggle button without any color. It will be blue when enabled. Enable it using toggle button if it’s disabled.

You can also enable or disable JavaScript for specific websites by clicking on the ‘Add’ button after Block or Allow option.
